I don’t know if I should laugh or cry right now. I thought I’d go through the entire book of Matthew, but it seems there’s enough mind boggling disciplines in Matthew 5 that I need to seriously consider.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Hello! And praise God, as we consecrate ourselves to Jesus Christ and truly press into Him – know Him as our very life and actually depend on Him – HE is our obedience! Meaning, so long as we work out our salvation with fear and trembling, it is God Himself who actually works in us to will AND to act according to His good purpose. Humility and trusting Him like little children are key on our part; Christ fulfilled the law (your long list)!
God bless you!
