An Average of 6-9 million people had the flu each month between October 2019 and March 2020- according to CDC

Comments 2 Standard

That’s right, according to the CDC, between October 2019 and March 14. 2020-  38,000,000 – 54,000,000  people got the flu in the United States, with 23,000 –  59,000 flu deaths and NO ONE HAD TO CLOSE ANY PUBLIC restaurants, businesses, schools or BOAT RAMPS . That’s 5.5 months of CDC Stats, so let’s do math: 6,909,090 -9,818,181 people each month got the flu between 2019-2020 in those 5.5 months.   10,000 DEATHS PER MONTH from the Flu! (And that’s with 50% -80% of the population receiving the flu shot- on cdc site as per 2018-2019 so probably higher numbers this year)

If we’re rounding, my title should read 7 million to 10 million people got the flu each month  in the last 5-6 months.

As of today, USA has 55000 COVID 19 Cases- I’m assuming that’s for all of March? Maybe February too. And remember – There’s a recovery number we’re not seeing.

I’m not saying this isn’t important, and I’m not denying that people have it, but I want you to see it from a real prospective…. If you have more insight into this, please explain it in the comments.

And the CDC wouldn’t lie…. unless they were getting flu vax kickbacks, but that’s deep state talk, so most irrelevant (CDC is funded by congress)

Am i doing the math wrong? Is there something I’m not doing right? Please tell me bc my city is almost at a shut down – we can’t even put a boat on the water because .0081% of people in Florida have Covid19- and that number obviously includes people who have recovered, but for some reason, that’s not told to us. Yes, South Florida has about half of the cases in Florida – approx 350 in Miami and 312 in fort Lauderdale but again, that is .019% of the county  population. Isn’t that 2 people out of every 10K in Broward county

I know, I see the numbers for New York, but where are the recovery numbers? When this first came out I saw China continually posted their high recovery rate at 50% and growing – but not our numbers. New York was at an estimated 17K a month for flu stats according to their health department.

More people died from the flu in the last 5 months than have the corona19 virus (USA)

What’s really going on?

BTW, I’m not promoting the flu vax here with these stats. My neighbor got a flu shot and ended up in a coma for 2 months and died 6 months later. The guy had just retired , enjoying his 2nd year of retirement. My bro and family got the flu shots and they all ended up with the flu for Christmas so explain that to me. I’m not sold on it.

If this covid is really as dangerous as they say it is, then the cdc is lying to us about the flu stats. If the cdc is lying about the flu stats its because flu shots are a money maker for them.If cdc is lying, then covid19 stats could also be misleading. If you research cdc statistics, you’ll find a pediatrician wrote on the USdept of health accusing them of lying.

Lyrics
Getting caught up in the here and now
Has a tendency to wear me down
Am I really free if I’m thinking ’bout
Only temporary things?
The world’s screaming so loud
When I’m locked to the middle of my doubt
When I’m lost in the rythm of the crowd
I hear heaven calling me
Don’t want to be anothe victim
Falling prey to the system
When You’ve called me the the kingdom
I know I am a citizen of Heaven
My identity forever is Yours, Yours
I know I am a citizen of Heaven
My identity forever is Yours, Yours
I can see your breaking through the clouds
You made this soul to be glory bound
I can hardly keep my feet on the gorund
‘Cause I know I will be free
Lord, won’t you open up the gates wide?
Gonna step into a new life
No way I’m ever leaving Your side
I know I am a citizen…

Benefits of reading the bible. Why should I read the bible? Why should I study?

Comments 2 Standard

“Why do you read the bible?”

How can I explain the wonders, the joy and the power of the Word of God?   I decided I would search the scriptures so I would be ready next time someone asks- why do you bother reading the bible?

“ Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.” Eph 4:14

Why should we study the scriptures?
Why should we seek Him?

For I am always thinking of your laws. I meditate on them day and night. I write to you who are God’s children because you know the Father, I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you whoa re young in the faith because you are strong. God’s word lives in your hearts and you have won your battle with the evil one. 1 John 2:14

Hear the Word of the Lord:

Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles. I meditate on your age-old regulations; O Lord, they comfort me. Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.  For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.  You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.  But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word. I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. I have recited aloud all the regulations you have given us. I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word (Ps 119:7-16, Ps 119:50-52, James 1:22-25, Ps 119:2)

For the gracious hand of his God was on him. This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel. Ezra 7:10

He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the Lord his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees.  This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel. Deut. 17: 18-21

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

“The Lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors.  The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.“This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand, and it is not beyond your reach. Duet 30: 9-11

Listen to Him

Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.” So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.  Matthew 13:11-13, John 8:47, Heb 2:1, Heb 12:25, Rev 1:3, is 55:6

Remain in His Word: But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!  Ps 119:10, John 15:7, 1Peter1:25, Ps 119:28

Delight in the Law. Meditate on it Day and Night: But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. Ps 119:2, Ps 1:1-3, Josh 1:8, Ps 19:7-11

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.119:65. 105

But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it.  It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. 49 But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.” Luke 6:46-49, matt 4:4

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! John 15:7, John 8:31

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 1God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.Romans 1:16, Eph 6:17, Heb 4:122 Tim 3:16

Isaiah 51:12 Who do you trust? God’s word or man’s word?

Comment 1 Standard

One day in 2010, I was praying to the Lord. It was a difficult time and bad news surrounded me on every side. I prayed to God about it and as I prayed, I could see off in the distance a tiny light- my eyes were closed. It was coming my way and as it got closer, I could see it was something in writing and closer and closer it came, until I could see it.  I saw “Isaiah 51:12” written out in a light with the darkness of my closed eyes around it.

I got up from my prayer and opened up my bible to Isaiah 51:12

“I, even I, am He that comforteth you; how art thou that shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.”

I knew immediately that I needed to stop worrying about all the bad reports around me and trust God. It’s not easy. It’s like being in a storm and saying there is no storm, but you can be in the storm and know you’ll be okay. God is with you and this will pass. Jesus made it clear that He doesn’t want us to worry, we need to trust Him and have faith. To be honest, it wasn’t easy not to be shaken by the reports around me , but God wants us to listen to Him and His promises for us- not the bad reports around us.  I like the verse ” Be wise to what is good and be simple to what is evil”. Remember the disciples on the boat during the storm? Jesus was sound asleep , he woke up and rebuked the storm. Had the disciples seen this, they wouldn’t have worried, but they were fearful because all they could see was the doom of the next minute – which never came.

Isaiah 51:12 tells us that the Lord is the One who will comfort us, He has compassion on us, He will put us at ease. Don’t be in fear, dread of the terrible things you hear and see from man- who is man anyways? he’s like grass, here today and gone tomorrow.

Don’t forget your maker, the One who stretched forth the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and why do you continue to fear the fury of the oppressor? and where is this fury?

But I am the Lord thy God, that divided the sea,  whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is His Name. And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, THOU ART MY PEOPLE. Isaiah 51

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when the heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will ease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

May you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding, that you walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, having all patience and long suffering with joy, always giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints of the light. The Lord has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us unto the kingdom of the Son of His love in whom we have redemption. May His peace, His mercy and His Loving kindness protect and surround you today and always.

7 blessings for those who consider the poor -Psalm 41

Leave a comment Standard

“Blessed (Happy) is he who considers (gives attention to, to help prosper) the poor (needy, weak, poor)”

7 Blessings:

  1. The Lord will deliver you out of trouble
  2. The Lord will preserve you
  3. He will keep you alive; revive to life
  4. The Lord will bless you upon the earth
  5. you will be protected ; you will be delivered from your enemies
  6. The Lord will strengthen you on your bed of illness/sorrow; give you strength (support, healing)
  7. You will recover from weakness; He will sustain you on your sickbed

Consider Luke 18: A ruler asked Jesus ” What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus responded with the commandments – ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother’. The ruler responded ” I have kept all these commands since my youth”.  Jesus then responded ” You lack ONE THING, SELL all you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come follow me” (read full passage Luke 18: 18-30 )

When you give to those in need and give up your possessions, you are storing up treasure in heaven. God sees and rewards you when you consider others. When you lend to the Lord (help the poor), He will repay you. We are promised that we will lack nothing when we give.

This reminds me of 2 instances in scripture that confirm this 1) poor widow who dropped in only 2 coins, she gave all she had (Mark 12:41) Jesus mentioned her among all the rich who dropped in their tithe, yet this one woman gave all she had, even though it was a small amount. God see’s everything , He knows. It’s amazing  that among all the people ,Jesus sees the one who most people overlook. We esteem the wealthy, popular, famous, yet Christ see’s this poor woman and tells us that she has given more than anyone else that had dropped their money in. 2) The story of a poor widow and her child in 1 Kings 17 (read it) when there was a great famine. Elijah asked for food and she gave up her last meal for herself and her son so Elijah could eat. She only had a handful of flour and small amount of oil. Long story short, she fed him first and God supernaturally supplied her and her son with flour and oil every day (among other miracles) God took care of her when she gave up her last meal for another.

Hear the Word of the Lord

“Sell your possessions and give to those in need. This will store up treasure for you in heaven! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes. Your treasure will be safe; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it.  Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.Luke 12 :33-34

“When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said, “don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward.  Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.  Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.” Luke 14:12

Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death. If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—  and he will repay you! Proverbs 19 :16-17

Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed. Proverbs 28:27

Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need. Prov 21:13

If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—    and he will repay you! Proverbs 19:17

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back Luke 6:38

Yet in another turnaround to all this, Paul tells us in Corinthians, that if we give all we have to the poor but don’t have love, it will profit us nothing. So if you give, give with a willing and cheerful heart. No one wants a disgruntled gift. If you give, give in Love and do it willingly-read it: Don’t give in response to pressure

God owns the cattle on all the hills,

PSALM 50:10,12  10 For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for all the world is mine and everything in it.all the earth is His

he doesn’t need your $25 with a bad attitude lol, really! Let it be from your heart. If your heart isn’t right, then take some time out to find the Lord and walk with Him. He’ll show you the way to go. I get so annoyed at all the people asking for money- I bet you do to. Often times, I’ll ask God where to give and He will show me and direct me. It may or may not be tax deductible or a well known charity, it may be someone next to me in the store that the Spirit leads me too. We are each different and called to different things, perhaps your heart for giving is somewhere else- pray about it. (and we’ve got to keep our churches going…)

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly
or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
And God will generously provide all you need.
Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to
share with others.  As the Scriptures say,
“They share freely and give generously to the poor.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread
to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources
and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God. As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ.  And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you.  Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words! 1 Cor 9:7-15

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Mt 5:6b Gal 6:7

What sorrow awaits you who are praised by the crowds,
